Must Have Bouncer Chair For Baby
2-in-1 Bouncer & Rocker Duo by Summer (Amazon) I have this chair because it was a gift and we have used it almost every day since we received it - and our baby is now six months old.
So I definitely recommend this chair but I think at 15 lbs, 25 inches and 6 months, she is just now starting to outgrow it. This is because the chair only has a waste harness. The seat belt does not go over her shoulders so if you put the chair on the most upright setting, an older or more mobile baby can easily thrust forward and spill out of the chair and there are no straps preventing this. You can put batteries in it and make the chair vibrate but we never used this function. It also comes with a bar and hanging plush toys but our little one didn't like this bar across her viewing space so we removed it.
There are 3 settings. You can make it flat for storage and there are two incline levels. It is almost impossible to adjust the chair to sit more upright by yourself. You need two hands to depress the knobs on each side and you would need a second person to push the chair up. I feel that this is a design flaw and it shouldn't take two people every time you want to adjust this chair.
In conclusion, I would still recommend this baby bouncer for younger, smaller babies. I'll probably re-introduce this chair when our child is older and can use it as a lawn chair in the upright position.
Our baby has spent hours upon hours in this chair so I think it's very comfortable for her. It's light enough to carry and place in different parts of your home so the baby can be seated or sleeping where you are.
