Top two baby lotions:
I live in a very dry part of the country so putting lotion on our baby is part of my daily ritual. I don't know how other babies are when you apply lotion to their face but ours absolutely loves it. She feels pampered and pretty!
The links above are the two types of lotion I have in the nursery. The Mustela is not fragrance free so I was reluctant to use it on our newborn but I tried it out and boy, does she love the scent! I love the jojoba smell too and started sneaking some on myself every now and then. I don't think any baby loves putting lotion on more than ours. She literally giggles with delight sometimes when she uses the Mustela. Leave it to the French to make a great smelling baby lotion that's still gentle for baby skin!
The Eucerin is the lotion recommended by our pediatrician. Anything that is fragrance free and hypoallergenic will make your doctor happy. I use this one too and I give her little foot massages - which is supposed to be good for her digestion. Just rub the center of the bottom of the foot in a circular motion. I do not recommend the Mustela lotion for any babies with sensitive skin or any skin issues. You would obviously need to consult your pediatrician before putting any lotion on your baby under those circumstances. The Mustela is also pricier than other baby lotions so I consider it a luxury item. But we absolutely love it - especially after a nice bath!
