Baby Bath Time Check List
I create an assembly line at bath time with the following items:
Boppy Original Newborn Lounger (Amazon): I put the baby on the Boppy cushion, next to kitchen sink, and get her undressed.
100% Bamboo Hooded Baby Towel By Mi Bella (Amazon): The Boppy is lined with a bath towel in preparation for when we I take her out of the bath and back unto the Boppy.
Fisher-Price 4-in-1 Sling 'n Seat Tub (Amazon): I use a Fisher-Price baby tub (pictured) but this one is an older model. The reason her head is in the middle of the tub is because when she was very small, I spun her in the sling seat so it would be easier for me to shampoo her hair.
The Honest Company Perfectly Gentle Sweet Orange Vanilla Shampoo + Body Wash: By far the best baby shampoo and body wash out there! I love the pump - so easy to use with just one hand while my other hand supports the baby.
MotherMed Baby Bath Thermometer (Amazon): The LCD screen displays "cold" if the bathwater temperature is lower than 89.6°F, The LCD screen illuminates in Red if the bathwater temperature is higher than 102.2°F This is so useful knowing that the water temperature is just right!
Bamboo Baby Washcloth (Amazon): I use these wash cloths to soap her body and also to cover her up in the water if I think the room is a little cold and the water isn't fully covering her up.
Mustela Baby Bath Time Gift Set (Amazon): My baby absolutely loves this lotion but it is fragranced so you'll want to go with a non fragranced lotion if your baby has sensitive skin.
Bath Book Toy Set: Three Little Speckled Frogs (Amazon): I don't give her this book in the bath yet and will save it until she is older and can sit up by herself. For now, she reads and plays with this book outside the bath and it's one of her favorite toys!
