Dress Like An Empress?
For our 100 Days Baby Celebration, we dressed our little one in the traditional, Korean garb called Han-Bok. But this gown is not traditionally worn on the baby's 100th Day. It is reserved for the baby's first birthday party - called "Dol."
Traditionally in Korea, babies are dressed in all white on their 100th day. But remember how I told you that Asian Americans and even younger generations in Asia are starting new trends or revising old ones? These days, families are dressing their sweet babies in the traditional clothes even for their 100 Days Celebrations. We are one of those families! We just couldn't resist getting these pictures!

Be sure to get the size for 100 Days Celebration - not for Baby's First Birthday ("Dol"). The Dol sizes will be too big for a baby that is only 100 days old.
Important mommy advice: I suggest you have a second outfit ready. These traditional clothes are beautiful but not at all comfortable. Our baby had to have a "costume change" and only lasted long enough to take a few photos in her han-bok. My sister was generous enough to get us a second dress so we had that ready for her. It is Korean Han-Bok inspired but made of more comfortable fabric. She enjoyed being in this dress a lot more!
